"At Call Jackie Senior Living Options, I proudly offer a FREE referral service for families navigating the complexities of senior care. As Arizona's most trusted expert in Senior Assisted Living Options and Care, I deeply understand the challenges you may face during this journey.
My own story began when my mom fell ill and ended up in the hospital. Although she could care for herself, her health took a rapid turn for the worse. After weeks of uncertainty and unanswered questions, the doctors could only tell us what wasn't wrong with her.
She became disoriented, started hallucinating, and lost her ability to walk and eat. It was devastating when the doctor informed us she had just 2-3 weeks to live and recommended placing her in a nursing home.
After exploring several nursing homes which were horrible, I decided to move her to a group home recommended by a trusted friend. The caregivers there quickly realized that my Mom was being over-medicated. With the help of a mobile geriatric doctor, we adjusted her medications, and within ten days, she was back to her vibrant self, living an additional 3 1/2 years!
Navigating this experience was incredibly challenging, filled with anxiety, stress, guilt, and fear of making the wrong decisions. I feel so fortunate to have found the right place for Mom.
Having gone through this heart-wrenching process, I felt a strong calling to help families like yours navigate what can often be a sudden, traumatic, and confusing journey.
